UENO KOSEI

1988年生まれ、福岡県出身。
Yogee New Waves、Jappersのベーシストとして活動をした後、2022年から画家、イラストレーターとしてのキャリアをスタート。

同年、初の個展『Hello It’s Me』をkit galleryにて、2回目の個展『You ain’t going nowhere』をcandle cafe △llにて開催。
翌年には初の作品集『When we saw it being there』を製作し、同名の個展を開催。

画家としての活動のほか、イラストレーターとして様々なアーティストやブランド等にデザインを提供している。

Kosei Ueno

Born in Fukuoka, Japan in 1988.
After playing as bassist for Yogee New Waves and Jappers, he started his career as a painter and illustrator from 2022.
In the same year, he held solo exhibitions “Hello It’s Me” at kit gallery, Harajuku Tokyo and “You ain’t going nowhere” at candle cafe △ll, Shimokitazawa Tokyo..
In addition to his work as a painter, he also does client work for various artists and brands as an illustrator.
